Kazan, Russia - Cathedrals and Mosques

Considered the "Third Capital of Russia", Kazan shows a mixture of people, religions and cultures with Russian and Tartar populations and peacefully blends the Muslim and Christian cultures.

Kazan Kremlin, with the white walls holds inside a the amazing Kul-Sharif Mosque, with the blue dome and a style that remind us the Mosques in the Arab Emirates, with the use also of bright white and golden finishes.

And showing the religion harmony the Annunciation Cathedral also in blue, white and gold.

Kazan is has very open views, we get lucky with the weather, and the Volga River with clear sky can make the visit experience unforgettable.

Moscow - The last day

Inside the Kremlin walls we find the Cathedral Square, was a great symbol of the Russian Tsars, and were religious and some political events take place.

The Tsar Canon was never used in war, but is presence is intimidating, and held the record for the biggest canon caliber ever made.

This Tsar Bell never rung, it was broken from the metal casting, but still is the biggest one in the world, the Russians don't joke around in the matter of size.

We still have time to experience the movement of the Moscow Financial District.

In the streets of Moscow the tourist attractions are many, with many different street performers and shops with souvenirs from the Soviet Era.

Moscow by Night

The transformation of the city from day to night makes a great difference. The colorful walls and golden domes, makes room to a romantic and relaxed city. The yellow street lights give another dimension to Moscow.

The Red Square at night becomes illuminated in every direction. Is amazing how so many people come there at night to enjoy the scenery. St. Basil's Cathedral is worth seeing with all her intensity.

A walk at night in Moscow bring us the feeling travel to another Eras, from the Czars to the Soviet Empire.
