This place
gain is fame by o airborne trooper named John Steele, who on the D-Day landed
in the church tower, and in the next 2 hours pretended to be dead, later he was
captured by the Germans but he escaped to join once again the Allied army.
A dummy was
putted in the place where the trooper once was, making the place a touristic attraction.
The town is
very calm, especially not in the summer time, surrounded by green fields. Is a
must see if you are searching for important landmarks from the WWII.
